Erotic Fempowerment in Montréal
At the start of April, after the rhythm of waves and west coast breeze, I returned to Montréal—a city of play, pulse, and possibility. Here, I stepped back into the warmth and depth of our Erotic…

Collaborating with Zukaro Media to create a promotional video for my Travelling Queer Erotic Retreat, QUEEROS, was an incredibly affirming, creative, and professionally satisfying experience. This wasn’t just about producing content—it was about launching a vision. One that’s deeply personal, sensual, queer, and rooted in embodiment. Parmis and Matthew—alongside their crew—helped bring it all to life with artistry and care.
This was my first time creating a media piece where I was both the subject and the visionary. I didn’t want a simple intro video; I wanted a cinematic story—something that communicated the tone, playfulness, and intimacy of the retreat experience. They took the time to really listen and reflect back what I wanted to share with the world. We built a script that was simple but evocative, and their process helped me feel supported and confident every step of the way.
We filmed over two full days at two different locations. When one spot fell through, they jumped into action and helped scout alternatives—no panic, just problem-solving. That kind of adaptability is rare. I also appreciated how they guided the pacing of the shoot, working with me and another actor to create genuine, embodied moments that translated beautifully on camera.

As a queer, gender non-conforming human, feeling safe and understood in professional creative spaces can sometimes be hit or miss. But with Zukaro, I felt completely at ease. They respected my desire to present naturally—no heavy makeup, no glam—just me, grounded and real. Even the makeup artist was aligned with that vision. The whole team held space for authenticity, and I could feel that in the final video: not only was it stunning, it was true to me and to the spirit of the retreat.
The finished product? A polished, cinematic, two-minute gem that exceeded my expectations. Delivered on time, within a very reasonable budget, and with a sense of reverence for the work I’m doing. I was able to proudly share it with my community and colleagues, and it landed in the way I had hoped—with curiosity, resonance, and excitement.

I’ll definitely be working with Zukaro again. As I move more into video as a way to share the work I offer—playful embodiment, queer erotic exploration, nature-based retreats—they’re exactly the team I want helping me shape that visual language. They have the technical skill, yes—but more importantly, they have heart, vision, and the ability to meet people where they are.
If you’re looking for a team who can bring your bold, weird, tender, visionary dreams to life on screen—especially if you’re queer, creative, and care about integrity in how you’re seen—Zukaro Media is the real deal.
