This spring, I joined a Wheel of Consent retreat for erotic touch practitioners as both assistant and participant. What unfolded was an exploration of desire, care, power, play, and the exquisite complexity of being human. Through ritual, erotic practice, and embodied learning, I found myself confronting old assumptions about consent and discovering new depths of trust, responsibility, and aliveness. This essay offers an intimate glimpse into that experience, including explicit reflections on three rituals that continue to shape the way I understand touch, choice, and the courage to want what I truly want.
