SUMMARY:THROB PRIDE EDITION - Celebrate the Skin You’re In!
DESCRIPTION:THROB PRIDE EDITION: \nCelebrate the skin you’re in\nA body-positive\, self-intimacy workshop to access more of your pleasure potential\, led by queer certified sex educators Gerard X Reyes and guest facilitator Raynefyre Grayce. Our shared intention is to usher in a new world of queer care\, belonging and possibility. For this THROB Pride Edition we invite you to celebrate the skin you’re in through guided breathwork\, self-touch\, and freestyle dance. We’ll be hosting at a loft (with an elevator!) near Mont Royal métro on the Plateau. Featuring a new undressing ritual and an ecstatic breathwork practice to shed old skins that no longer serve us. This event is clothing optional (all states of dress/undress possible – you choose). \nThe 3-hour workshop will include: \n\nbody scan\nopening circle + shared agreements\nguided ecstatic breathwork\nundressing ritual (partnering exercise – no touch)\nguided\, mindful self-touch\nguided movement\nself-directed exploration (breath\, touch\, dance)\nintegration\nclosing circle\n\nNewcomers welcome – if you’ve been to THROB before\, you will be able to deepen your experience. Open to curious humans of all identities and experiences.  \nThe workshop will be taught in English and French. This non-judgmental and intentional space will prioritize 2SGLBTQQIAA+\, differently abled folks and people of the Global Majority.  \nThere is 1 step from the street into the building to get onto the elevator. \nThis event invites you to move at whatever cadence feels most supportive to your body-mind. Music will be played. Lighting is on dimmers. We will be sensitive to the group’s overall comfort. We ask that you tend to your own sensual sensitivities by bringing your own ear plugs and eye masks as needed. \nWhy join us? \n\nTo practice presence (not performance).\nTo explore listening\, surrendering\, and savouring the skin you’re in. \nTo encourage a deeper connection with yourself and the collective.\nTo be part of a group with the intention of expanding solo pleasure (rather than attracting others). \nTo come home to the er0tic wisdom of your body\, where you try to release internal and external expectations on your path towards greater pleasure.\nTo be in your own process\, held in a shared experience\, where you can move along both rough and smooth terrain.\n\nCOST: \nPricing is offered in three tiers\, $65-$75-$85\, based on your financial means. \nTHROB’S SHARED AGREEMENTS ARE: \nConfidentiality – What happens at THROB stays between participants at THROB – Only speak about your own experience. Filming or photography is not allowed. \nConsent and Boundaries – Listen to your body\, follow your desires and respect your boundaries as well as others. Don’t assume\, ask. \nSelf Focus – We refrain from touching others or cruising. \nIntentional Space – We refrain from drugs and alcohol before or during THROB to stay present and aware. \nAll of you is welcome – All states of being\, while sensitive to the shared space\, are allowed. Your curiosity around your body\, sensations\, touch\, sounds\, orgasms\, shame\, grief\, fear and guilt can all be woven into this collective experience. \n			\n				Register Here
